SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 18

Requesting the Division of Highways to name the new bridge from
Route 10 to Midelburg Island, Logan County, the "J. T. Fish
Memorial Bridge".
Whereas, J. T. Fish served for many years as a member of the
Logan County Public Recreation and Playground Board; and
Whereas, During his tenure as a distinguished and dedicated
board member, J. T. Fish made many contributions to the success of
the youth of Logan County; and
Whereas, As a fitting tribute to an outstanding and
distinguished citizen of Logan County, naming the bridge from Route
10 to Midelburg Island the "J. T. Fish Memorial Bridge" is
supported by the Logan County Public Recreation and Playground
Board and the Logan County Commission; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Legislature hereby requests the Division of Highways
to name the new bridge from Route 10 to Midelburg Island, Logan
County, the "J. T. Fish Memorial Bridge; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk of the Senate is hereby
directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Secretary of
the Department of Transportation and the Commissioner of the
Division of Highways.
